Spent the afternoon copying Prudhon's drawing. I love Prudhon. I think he draws the most beautiful figures. His attention to the light is mesmerizing as well.
Very nice! I admire your back-to-basics approach. I am also out of practice with my sketchbook (and figure drawing!!) I remember that for my final in figure drawing class, I lit myself as Prudhon's lady here and then drew myself from photos I took. It didn't turn out very well, haha. That lighting is damn hard!! Guess that's why he's the pro.
